Services for Elmer E. Ranking (Rankin) 66 Indianapolis will be at noon Wednesday in Eastside Baptist Church with calling from 3 – 9 p.m. Tuesday at the church. He died Friday at Wishard Memorial Hospital. Born in Greencastle, he had lived in Indianapolis 60 years.  He had been a mechanic for the US Postal Service 25 years, retiring in 1980.  He was a member of Eastside Baptist Church, its senior, starlight and youth usher boards and the After Six Club. He was an Army veteran of WWII.  Survivor: daughter, Dawn Stacey Rankin.
